IAAP Nordic Committees
IAAP is a member-driven organisation. Members who volunteer in our committees are crucial to our success. By being active in IAAP, you contribute to the development of the organisation, influence the topics focused on and indirectly impact the profession. If you prefer to share and obtain knowledge and information without getting involved in the practical work, that is of course entirely up to you!
IAAP Nordic chapter is currently reaching out for individuals interested in contributing to our regional committees starting their work in February 2025. You are welcome to apply for participation in the following committees:
Practicalities and procedures:
- All committee work is voluntary and un-paid.
- Committees meet online monthly or bi-monthly.
- Committees report back suggestions to the Council no later than two weeks after their meetings. The reporting is informal.
- Once a year, or on demand, all Committees meet and share results of their work together with the Advisory Council.
- The Advisory Council is the decision-making body that needs to approve ideas and material suggested by the Committees.
- The initiation of Committees is supported by Advisory Council members.
- Committee members serve for a period of two years. During the set-up phase, half of the Committee members’ terms will expire after one year, allowing for continuity and fresh input.

- Looking at existing global benefits – are they suitable for Nordic members? Could we tweak/refine/complement them to better suit our membership?
- If there is a gap, suggest specific Nordic member benefits.
