First international multiplier event – presentation of the good practice guide and handbook
On the 19th of February 2021, IAAP Nordic in cooperation with its project partners: Funka, Mittuniversitetet, Stuttgart Media University and University in Genova co-organized a first open webinar as part of the IWAC research project.
The webinar focused on how web accessibility courses can be integrated in higher education and was filled with inspiration and good examples. The even offered an insightful presentation of a newly developed handbook and a good practice guide – a result of the IWAC project, as well as a panel debate with questions from the audience. The project partners also shared their experiences and recommendations on how to get started when integrating web accessibility courses in ICT curricula.
Higher education teachers, program managers, students and the general public interested in the integration of web accessibility courses into ICT education participated in the event.

Second international multiplier event – insights and tools from the IWAC project concerning how to integrate web accessibility in higher education courses
On the 8th of December 2021, IAAP Nordic in cooperation with its project partners: Funka, Mittuniversitetet, Stuttgart Media university and the University in Genova co-organized a second open webinar as part of the IWAC research project.
The webinar discussed the value of web accessibility teaching at university level and presented insights from the work within the IWAC project on how to integrate web accessibility in ICT courses. The project partners presented the educational material and resources developed in the project, providing the opportunity for questions from the audience. The presentations particularly focused on the MOOC and case study materials that can be used by teachers to introduce web accessibility in their courses. The webinar also presented key insights and recommendations from the project.
